Just last week, it seemed like any possibility of a lyrical tussle between Alliance leader,Bounty Killer and ‘Gaza’ artiste Tommy Leewould subside given the apparent expressions of respect they expressed towards each other. However, after the latter entertainer’s latest taunts, Dancehall could be witnessing the next big clash within its circles.
On Saturday, Tommy Lee launched a scathing attack on Bounty Killer on a new track entitled Goat Head for which a video emerged on Monday, featuring an image of a goat with sunglasses used to mirror the legendary artiste’s face. Additionally, Lee calls out the ‘War Lord’ on a number of issues, including his claims that the ‘Sparta’ concept has ties to homosexuality while highlighting some of Bounty Killer’s legal troubles and accusing him of 'looking a hype.'
Upon hearing Goat Head, Alliance Next Generationartiste, Iyara shot back at the prominent ‘Gaza’ deejay withMurda Dem which also dissed UIM Records producer,Anju Blaxx.
Bounty Killer himself replied on Twitter with a clever comeback to Tommy Lee’s diss track, stating“GrungGaadZilla a.k.a Jesus Price is officially the dancehall G.O.A.T the Greatest of All Time,” while also referring to the Psycho deejay as ‘Tommy Flee’ and ‘Nyammy Lee.’
Additionally, Bounty Killer, who’s received a lot of support and flack for his stance, issued a stern warning to Jamaica about the direction that its music and society are going, comparing them to Haiti, who’s endured its share of natural disasters the last two years.
“Jamaica tuned like Haiti. Worshiping voodoo and demons, God forbid but unuh see what happened to Haiti in recent times that unuh want reach Jamaicans too?” he asked.
Bounty Killer insisted last week that he would not clash Tommy Lee at STING 2012 while releasing a new track featuring Kiprich and Alliance Next Generation protégé, Calado on the thought-provoking, War Fi God. However, after Tommy Lee’s lyrical attack, many wonder whether or not the ‘Gaza’ vs. Alliance battle will re-emerge as a result of these recent developments.
