Mr. Vegas Cries As He Speaks Publicly For The First Time About Cheating Scandal [Video]

We’ve seen the angry and the playful sides of Dancehall superstar, Mr. Vegas during the recent ordeal involving his baby’s mother, Shellian McBayne. Now we’ve seen the sad and very real side of this ongoing scandal.

A number of jabs have been thrown by Vegas at his baby mother after the Bruk It Downsinger caught her having sexual relations with another man in his house. Mr. Vegas also threatened to release a tape he captured of the alleged act and later released an excerpt from said video.

On Thursday, McBayne finally stepped forward to share he side of the story, intimating in an interview with popular talk show host, Kingsley ‘Ragashanti’ Stewartthat not only were they broken up when this incident happed, but refuted claims that she was a gold digger while claiming that the prominent entertainer has committed his own share of infidelity.

Shortly after that interview made the rounds on YouTube, a video of a sit-down that Mr. Vegashad on Thursday with New York radio station, Hot 97 emerged in which the Dancehall superstar broke down while trying to rationally explain the situation between himself and his baby’s mother.

Mr. Vegas was on hand to promote his successful double disc, Sweet Jamaica. However, the interview quickly turned into an exploration into the singjay's situation with his baby mother and how it came about.

Fighting back tears, Vegas told DJ Cipha Sounds, Rosenberg and Kfoxx that he feels bad about this situation given the implications it has and could have on their one-year-old daughter, who was allegedly in the room when his baby mother and her alleged lover were caught.

“It’s not just me, it’s my little daughter u know...After having kids all over, you’re like ‘Let me try make this a family.’ But if we’re together and I’m staying at your house…I would never take a woman to your house, in your bed, in front you kids,” Vegas said.

Vegas then elaborated on what he saw when arriving to his house and catching his baby mother in the act. According to Mr. Vegas, a camera, that he insists McBayne set-up, caught her and another man sleeping together in his daughter’s room.

But for Vegas, the worst part about this ordeal is that he may never see his daughter again, revealing a bombshell to HOT 97 that McBayne had married another man behind his back to obtain citizenship in United States visa before they had their daughter. Additionally, Vegas stated that his baby with McBayne was born in the U.S. while she was in wedlock, thus meaning he has no legal rights to their daughter.

“I jus woke up one day and someone said ‘Check your girl B, I see a ring on your finger.’ So we had an argument and I was like ‘Are you married?’ She did a marriage behind my back to get papers. I was like ‘If I told you, you wouldn’t let me do it.”

Mr. Vegas’ emotions finally overflowed as tears drained down his face while he spoke of his relationship with his daughter and kids while implying that his McBayne has sometimes been rough in handling their child.
