Unfaithful, promiscuous wife...who doesn't care

Dear Pastor,

I am a 50-year-old man and I am married to a 35-year-old woman. We have been married now for three years. She is not a faithful wife. She has one son. Years ago, I hurt my back and that has been preventing me from getting an erection. I have been to many doctors and the things they gave me have not helped me.

My wife used to hide and cheat, but now she is not hiding anymore. She has a boyfriend. I know his name and where he lives. She calls him her hubby. I asked her how come the man is her hubby and she is not married to him. She said he is playing the role that I can't play. She brought the man to my home and went to bed with him. Neighbours told me he was here. My wife doesn't care.

I don't know who to talk to. Some people say I should divorce her. But pastor it would be hard for me to start over.

I know you are not going to agree with me pastor. But I paid a man to watch my wife and I have found out that she has more than one man. She is also having a relationship with one of the men who took part in our wedding.

I don't know what to do. Please help me. I am so confused.

Dear T.A.,

I am afraid that you may become ill if you do not get professional help and if you do not do something about your marriage. It is either you are going to divorce your wife or get a legal separation. If you continue to live with your wife and fret over what she is doing, you will slowly destroy yourself.

This woman is laughing at you while she continues to be unfaithful. Even if you were to get help and you were able to overcome the problem of impotence, it would be unwise for you to continue the relationship with this promiscuous woman.

I therefore further suggest that you go and see a lawyer and discuss your problems with him/her. And if you need further assistance from me feel free to contact me again.
